Health Awareness Day for Seniors
Health—and supporting it through conscious nutrition—is a priority at every stage of life. The reasons may differ by age group, but the importance remains the same for all of us.
For the past 14 years, Delirest has been providing social catering services in Budapest’s 18th district. Over time, it has become a valued tradition to organize educational, gastronomy-focused events for the district’s beneficiaries.

We welcomed our guests with homemade vegetable spreads, sourdough baguettes, and coffee before the program began. This year’s special guest speaker was literary historian Krisztián Nyáry, who delivered a 90-minute interactive presentation on fascinating stories from culinary history and warmly engaged with questions from the audience.
Roland Kozma, Delirest’s dietitian, also gave a presentation on the role of vitamins in maintaining good health. The event concluded with a shared lunch, offering time for conversation and connection.
We believe that learning is a lifelong journey—and beyond preserving our health, it is something we should all continue to nurture, regardless of age.
We hope our speakers were able to provide valuable and inspiring insights for our guests.
We would like to thank Mayor Sándor Szaniszló for honoring us with his presence, the Municipality for its support, and Zsuzsanna Máté, Head of the Kondor Béla Community Center, for providing the venue and assisting with the organization of the event.
