Choose Your Own system

In our Choose Your Own system, Guests are free to choose what and how much they put on their plate from the dishes on offer. Payment is based on weight..

Everyone imagines the perfect lunch differently. Some prefer a bigger portion, others a lighter one. Some want more meat, others more vegetables. With the Help Yourself system, our Guests can take exactly what they feel like, in the amount they want.
This approach allows for more variety in everyday meals and makes it easier to accommodate different dietary needs. Based on our experience, introducing this system significantly reduces food waste while increasing guest satisfaction.

Food Waste Awareness Week

In 2019, the UN FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) designated September 29 as the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste.

As one of the region’s largest public catering companies, taking an active role in this fight is not only our responsibility, but also a strategic priority. This highlighted day provides a great opportunity to involve our Guests and raise broader awareness of the global food waste challenge.
Through interactive activities, prize draws and educational materials, we shine a spotlight on this issue of outstanding importance.

Take Your Dinner Home

We want our Guests to have options right up until closing time.
What we really don’t want is to throw food away.

With our Take Your Dinner Home program, Guests can purchase freshly prepared meals from the same day at a significant discount shortly before closing time.
This way, we reduce food waste — and our Guests gain back precious time at home they would otherwise spend cooking.

Guest satisfaction surveys

To understand and continuously improve Guest satisfaction, we use several feedback channels.
Our latest innovation is KIOSK — a digital feedback solution built around questionnaires developed together with our Partners. Through these tailored surveys, we ask our Guests what they think about our service:
What are their habits? What do they miss? What would they like to see done differently? How can we make everyday dining even better?
The collected feedback is reviewed and evaluated jointly with our Partners, and when needed, we create clear action plans to track and deliver the most important improvements.

In addition to KIOSK, we also rely on permanent tools that ensure transparent and continuous evaluation of our service.
Through our online questionnaire, Guests can share their feedback 24/7, anytime and anywhere. Alongside fixed questions, they also have the opportunity to express their needs and suggestions in their own words using open-text responses.

Get to know yourself

Dietitian in the Restaurant

Our Guests are also your employees — supporting their health and strengthening health awareness is a shared responsibility.

As part of our Dietitian in the Restaurant program, two qualified and experienced dietitians from our team visit your restaurant for one or two days, depending on expected demand.
Using a professional InBody body composition analyzer, our colleagues provide detailed insights into body composition. The assessment delivers accurate information about fitness levels, supports the early detection of obesity, and helps identify potential health risks associated with certain conditions.

Based on the results, our dietitians offer personalized nutritional and lifestyle advice, supporting long-term well-being and healthier everyday choices.

Our Chef Exchange Program showcases the very best culinary creations from the wider, international Delirest family.
With participating countries including Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, our chefs travel across borders to bring iconic national dishes to new audiences — reimagined in a modern, contemporary style.

The program offers a unique insight into neighboring countries’ gastronomic traditions, introduces timeless classics, and adds exciting variety to everyday dining experiences.

We see the world in pink

Pink Gasztro Campaign

Every year, we are proud to take part in Pink Gasztro, a culinary campaign supporting the fight against breast cancer — an initiative that truly brings our entire company together, regardless of age or gender.
For one week in October, our chefs create a wide variety of imaginative pink-inspired dishes, while our front-of-house teams design eye-catching in-restaurant displays. At the same time, our Guests enthusiastically support the cause by choosing pink dishes throughout the campaign week.

A portion of the revenue generated from pink menu items is donated to the Mellrákinfo Association, and our teams make sure that every possible pink dish and drink finds its way to a Guest.
We are proud that, through our profession, we can help spread a message that truly matters: prevention, regular screening and early detection save lives.
