We are delighted that our Smart Choice Programme has received Trade Magazin’s Symbol of Sustainability Award—an important recognition of our work.
Our programme aims to make healthier everyday eating choices easy for our guests by expanding our range of visually appealing, delicious and affordable plant-forward dishes and creating an environment that supports these choices.
Our educational activities reinforce this approach through a dedicated thematic website, weekly newsletters and point-of-sale communications.

Behind the scenes, a complex, coordinated effort takes place every day. Recipe and menu development, internal education, and the alignment of our supporting processes and operational teams all help ensure that the food we serve is delicious, affordable and offers our guests a range of health-conscious choices.
As a catering provider, we are laying the foundations for a food culture that supports a more sustainable future. By creating restaurant environments that encourage informed choices, making varied, plant-forward dishes appealing and accessible, we help foster more sustainable eating habits in Hungary.
It is particularly meaningful to us that this work has now been recognised by a professional jury. This year, Trade Magazin held its Symbol of Sustainability competition for the seventh time, and our programme received an award in the CSR Social category.
Entries were assessed in two rounds, considering the initiatives’ results, innovation, and social and environmental impacts, among other criteria. The award was accepted on 23 September at the FMCG industry’s Business Days conference by Attia Kőszegi, Managing Director of Delirest Kft., and Rita Szabó, Head of Communications at Delirest and Project Lead of the programme.
We are proud of this recognition—and even prouder of the collective effort behind it. Thank you to our colleagues and partners, whose daily commitment helps make Smart Choice more than a programme: an environment that supports better everyday decisions for everyone dining with Delirest.
